An MS1 V2.2 is really something I'd only recommend if you were on a very tight budget and only needed to control fuel (or needed to control one of a handful of very specific ignitions, but there aren't any BMW examples, and that is covered on MSExtra.com). Is this a fuel-only setup, or did you need ignition control too? What sort of BMW engine is this?

Hello Matt, yes i am on a low budget, the engine is am m43 wich was an 1.6l,with a forged crankshaft from a 1,8 tds bmw, cylinder head is from a m44 engine(1.8 is) with timing chain and everything needed, forged custom rods and pistons,it is a 2.0l engine dohc 16 v,with 9.0-1,turbocharged with a t4,i plan to run on 1bar of boost, but the main problem is ecu management, because it does not have a map sensor,so i have decided to make my own ecu,so i will need to control air-fuel and ignition timing,i was reading that ms1 v2.2 is capabile to control ignition with some sort of diy module.
i have crankshaft am camshaft sensors on this engine(with 3 wires,i don t know if it is hall or vr,)
i need informations to configure my ecu step by step.thanks

I would rather at the very least start with an MS1 V3.0. Using these for ignition control requires MS1/Extra code, which has a separate support forum at MSExtra.com.
