MS 2, V3 FIDL issue

Post by jubilee »

Hello all. Bear with me, I'm new to this. Have assembled the MS board and Jimstim. All of the LED's check out in the Jimstim, however when checking out the MS with it, everything seems to work except the Fidl LED. The injector LED's light up tracking the RPM and the fuel pump LED glows. Adjusting the CLT POT does NOT affect the Fidl LED. D14 LED lights each time the injectors fire. D15 glows unless the CLT POT is max clockwise then it goes out. D16 is out unless I rotate the TPS POT full clockwise then it flickers.

I have searched the forums as good as I can, but no clear answers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it configured for stepper, on/off, or PWM idle output?

Thanks for your response. Good catch, I had it configured for 15 min IAC, changed to solenoid. However still no Fidl LED,

Thanks

I believe I have rectified this issue due to your input and in finding a bad connection in the fidl transistor circuit. Contacts for these transistors are so close together on the board that I removed the transistors and externally wired them to appropriate components to ensure they were properly separated.

Thanks again.
