Using Honda CLT and IAT?

Post by mkehler »

Anyone using Honda CLT and IAT's, and if so, do they read the same as the 'standard' GM sensors? Reason I ask is that i have a good supply of free Honda parts.. and I really would rather save my cash for a IM LC1 than spending it on sensors... :)

On vacation all week, so hopefully I can get my MS installed; going into my 1972 BMW 2002 with a m20b25 (1990 BMW 325is) engine.. CAN'T WAIT to ditch that AFM and ICV!!!

thanks
Matt

Thanks Lance. Forgive my ignorance (my excuse is that I'm a MS novice, and working on my first implementation of it :)... but is ALL I have to do is replace the R4 and R7 2.49k ohm resistors with 2.2k ohm and thats it? or do I have to put in the 2.2k ohm resistors in conjunction with playing with Easytherm?

I'm not sure how much i want to 'get into it' on my first attempt..it may end up being a smarter solution for me to simply spend the cash on some of the sensors with known values, and then try out the Honda ones at a later time...

thx
Matt
