It's well worth getting a Stim. That will quickly show whether the problem is in the MS itself, or the feed to it. But it's far more likely to be the latter.

Ok. I have the stim completed and attached. It so far has told me what I already know. The temperature sensors work, but the RPM doesn't. Since I didn't build the board, will I need to go back through the build doing all the stim checks until I find the issue?

Thanks for your help.

Go to the manual and look up your actual ignition configuration, and make sure the MS is connected internally for this. Then check the software settings.

Ok. I have been to the manual and found that the jumper from js10 to ign was not installed. I have installed that jumper and now have the ign light on the stim actuated. I still do not have any tach response in Tunerstudio when I move the rpm POT. Thoughts? Thanks.

Does the ignition light on the stim respond to the RPM pot on the stim? You should be able to get it to flash at a low revs setting.

I now have a tach signal and the rpm moves with input on the POT on the stim. The jumper from js10 to ign was missing. O2 also moves with input from the POT on the stim. I have attached a datalog from an attempted start. The cranking rpm show 25000 plus. Thoughts? Thanks for your help. I'm making progress.
