I don't doubt the events that you say are taking place truly are. A datalog will make it possible for many others, (including myself), to see what MS is "seeing" and doing. Without a datalog, we will have to resort to guessing. There is a rev limiter that you need to check the settings on.williamb82 wrote:im telling you, no way to hear pinging over this thing, even if it was. im prolly putting 400+ to the wheels and the exhaust is mandrel bent 3in with no cat and straight through magnaflow muffler. 3in inlet, dual 2.5in out to look stock. lol. there is a LOUD and i mean gunshot LOUD pop right at 5600rpm and then it goes more and has some smaller pops almost like a motorcycle on the rev limiter. its wierd.
I think you are datalogging correctly, just not opening the correct software to view it.williamb82 wrote:i need to learn how to datalog this thing. i cant watch the laptop or gauges when it happens.
You could post another thread asking that very question. I personally don't know anyone in that area.williamb82 wrote:is there anyone on this forum thats experienced enough in my area that youd recomend to help?
This assumes that accel is your issue, which I do not believe it is.williamb82 wrote:i richened the accell at 100% of the tps by 1 more ms. and the setting before that by 1 and below that by 0.5ms
That's correct, although I don't ever use the ctrl l function to start my datalog. There should be an indicator that comes on in the lower right corner, signifying that you are datalogging.williamb82 wrote:id like to make a usuable datalog. any directions on that? i thought it was just do ctrl l, then name it and save then drive around then choose stop. but obviously theres something else to it.
Erase Megatweak from your computer and brain forever, and use MegalogViewer, (MLV) and Megatune,(MT), or Tunerstudio, (TSMS).williamb82 wrote:i didnt make the log with megatweek. i tried making it with megatune and then opening it with megatweek. is there a way to make it with megatweek? guess theres more readign i need to do then. any pointers?
Try opening your datalog with MLV and tell me what happens.
