Hi, two questions on this:

1. is this regulator okay for use in a supercharged application?

2. how can I test this regulator?

Does anyone know what the Bosch itme 0280140524 is?

Get on ebay and look for EGR solenoid. There are a few on there right now for under $10. It's a solenoid with a piston that allows airflow when open and blocks all air when closed, it should perform fine in a forced induction application.

It's a simple test, hook a vacuum line up to it and blow on the end, if you can't get any air to go through then it's closed, energize it and then blow on it, if it goes through then it works. Remove the current and blow on it again after the current is removed and it should be closed again, simple solenoid.
