Mustang pump

Post by injmopar »

Has anyone here replaced a pump in a 87-92 Mustang. I picked up a new one to use in my project. Now is the little piece of fuel line that comes in the box realy good for 50-60 psi.

Yes, the little fuel line replaces the connection hose in the tank between the pump and the steel fuel line. The standard Fuel injection hose supplied is usually good to at least 300psi fuel pressure. Be sure not to over tighten the hose clamps when installing the new pump.

I was just having a moment of paranoia. I had no reason to question a Carter pump kit. It was just one of those days when you double check everything, because anything that can go wrong has.
The part number info is great thanks.
