Can I start the motor with out IAC connected, the motor runs on methenol, it is just a race car and start up usually requires a squirt of petrol down the throat of the carby, I am considering not including the start up procedure in my ms2

hmm, you got me thinking, maybe you could hook up injector one to methanol for general running of the car and injector 2 to a small petrol source for starting up.?

Once the motor is started it never needs to be primed for the rest of the day, Can I connect my ms2 while I am still running a carby to check the mixture tunning without using it for fuel, and if so can I use it to adjust timming as well, before I finsh the fuel side of things?

yes you can set it up for spark only and tune the spark table then later add in the fuel delivery side of things and just tune the fuel around your current spark settings, that would get it running well enough to then play with both tables to release them vital ponies.
