How do you determine the loaded code on a given ECU?

Post by HarielA4 »

I have a MSII v2.2 ecu. It is installed and running. The only problem is I can't remember which version code I am running. I have used the MSII D/L utility to read signature and it sends `s` and the reply from the ECU is "á". What does this mean? When I try to verify it always errors out no matter the version of s19 I try to use. Thanks for the help.

strange thing is I have gotten that on two other ECU's that I have access to. Those one's I know what code is one them. 2.36 Could the problem be that I am using a USB serial adapter? What is strange to me is that when I use Megatune everything works fine.

On my PC (XP) only 2 digits are displayed after the decimal eg 2.88. This means I can not see if its 2.884 or 2.886 fw that is running on the MS.
