If you need 12 plugs, you might try using the COP that's on the new Dodge 5.7 Hemi's. The new engine has dual plugs per cylinder (it took me over three hours to change the plugs...) They have one COP driving two plugs each, like a wasted spark idea. The signal goes to the coil to drive the plug directly below it, and then there is a pigtail for a regular spark plug wire that goes across the motor to the cylinder 180 degrees away.
I haven't tried it yet on any other vehicle, but it's worth considering...
Does anyone else know more about those dual plug Hemi setups? Would it work as I described?

That's interesting, might have to go see what it looks like. Probably not many in junk yards yet though
