Help understand (configuring constants)

Post by Maki »

Today I took the first step and launched maga tune and opened constants page.
There I have one question as I couldn't find the explanation in the megamanual :RTFM:

Injections per engine cycle? how to determine how many of them do I need? I always thought that the number of injections per cycle should be one, but here I have to choose between 2 or 4 as I have 4 cylinder engine.
Why is that so? Please somebody bring me into light.

Thanks

For port injection, you should set this to 2 squirts/cycle, alternating. Check: http://www.megamanual.com/mt28.htm#squirts

Lance.
Good link Lance, thanks :) I was skipping the MSII tuning guide as I have MSI and here we go MSI manual isn't that detailed as MSII :|
