283 TPI Fuel Map

Post by Bender142 »

I'm replacing a stock GM ECM with a MS-II on tuned port injected 283 Chevy. The TPI system is all stock including the ECM, harness, HEI (7 pin), injectors, sensors, manifold, runners, etc. The whole mess runs decent but is too much hassle to tune, hence the shift to MS.

Does anybody out there have a fuel map for a 283 Chevy with a TPI? A fuel map for a 305 Chevy with TPI would also work (as a place to start).

Cheers,

I've got a 350tpi, 8 pin, stock injectors, iac, rams horn manifolds... and here is a link to my close to working setup. I need to add fuel for ase still.

Are you wide band? If so maybe my tables may not fit as afr is not used. All of our engines are different- I have an RV cam. I think the default map should be a good start... I was hesitant to get started without a close fuel map or msq but after a couple of logs you should have the system almost to daily-driver status. I use Megalogviewer and if I can do it anyone can!

Good luck. :)

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on using the wide band O2 set up.

Cheers
