LPG Injectors

I am looking at installing LPG injection in my car (1988 Nissan Skyline - RB30E EFI).

However, there are no straight-gas solutions available. By that I mean not dual-fuel. So I asked some people in the LPG business and they suggested aftermarket engine management. But what they suggested cost AUD$4000, which is more than the value of my car. So of course I thought of Megasquirt!

Now I won't be doing the conversion until the Router board is released (eventually...) as I want full sequential injection to stop catastrophic backfires (RB30s do that on LPG) and to get better mileage from a tank. But I still want to clear up a couple of things. The LPG injectors are VERY low impedance and have a HIGH current draw requirement for peak-and-hold.

Specs:
  • - Operating voltage: 6.3V to 16V
    - Current, Normal operation: 4.0A peak, 1.5A hold, 6.0A limit
    - Coil Resistance: 1.25 ± 0.06 Ω @ 20ºC
    - Coil Inductance: 3.5 mH @ 20ºC
If I used resistors to protect the flyback circuit, wouldn't that drop current below the 4A peak and 1.5A hold?
So how would you much more experienced people suggest I go about running 6 of these sequentially off a Megasquirt?

Thanks in advance,
Grant

BRC or PRINS both fully sequential systems will work best on your vehicle

Both of these are not "straight-gas" solutions. They require you to start on petrol and then switch automatically to LPG. Megasquirt will allow me to set up cold-starting directly with LPG vapour injection.
