LS2 coils on a LS1 harness engine

I read your information about the LS2 coils, but have a LS1 engine.
I would like to run the LS2 coils but have a wire harness from a LS1.
I have been told that the coil connector is different at the coil between
LS1 and LS2, but if I buy a LS2 coil Pack Wire harness from GM, will
the main portion be the same connector. (Main is where all the coil
packs come together per side in a weatherpack connector.)

Just a suggestion, but I have gone to a Local Chevy dealer myself and talked them into a printed wiring diagram for the LS2 coils, maybe you could get both and compare yourself.
