Mustang TFI install V3 MSII build need clarification
I am doing the basic Mustang 5.0 build TFI without any MSD box. I am at step 50. For 50f do I install a jumper, a 1/4 watt resistor like it states in mustang write up, or install a Zener Diode like it states in 50k? Also if I install the 1/4 watt resistor, is there one in the kit someplace I can use, or do I need to buy one?

Don't run a zener diode. You can either (A) use a resistor there or (B) use a larger value for R12.

Is there an extra resistor in the kit from an unused step, or do I need to buy one?

R45, from the VR conditioner, is one you could use.
Edited to add - this depends on which kit you have as the materials change. You need a 1K resistor.
