electrical fan control

on my setup i'm not using an idle control IAC , was wandering if i can use the Fidle outputs to control my cooling fan? since it's coolant dependent?

Yes, although the MS1 code does not have any hysteresis so it will turn off and on at the same temperature. MS2 code lets you use it as a spare output, which will let you turn the fan on above a certain temperature and off at a different temperature so it doesn't cycle on and off so much.

if i want to use x11-x14 outputs to drive a fan relay ,can i do it without putting a resistor and a transistor
on the proto area i would like to do it externaly on the MS , if not i will control the fan manually, i would
love to have a diagram , can you email it to me?

If your question is about troubleshooting, configuration, or tuning, you MUST include your processor type (MS-I or MS-II) and code version in your post. If your question is about PCB assembly or modifications, you must also include the main board version number (1.01, 2.2 or 3.0).

You'd have to use MS1/Extra firmware to do that - regular B&G code does not have any extra outputs for the fans.
