MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

So I am building a MS II for a class project and Im about stuck at the moment. I am at step 41 of the megamanual where I plug up the MS board, the simulator to the computer and connect it. well when I run megatune and go to real time display as per directions, it says "if you have MS-II 2.8+ code, you may have to set the "ECU type" under 'fuel set-up/ general' otherwise all other menus items may be greyed out". Well i have version 2.89 and all of my menus are greyed out but I cant find anywhere to change the ECU type to MS II. so the question is, how do i accomplish this for step 41? i also have the V3 board

Click on Fuel Set-Up; General should be the only option not grayed out. The ECU type is at the top of this screen.

thats the thing, i dont know if i have the wrong version or something, I cant find the 'Fuel set-up' tab anywhere. the version of megatune i have is 2.25 p3

What tabs do you have at the menu bar at the top?

I have " file, setting, Tables, Tuning, communication, tools and help"

Sounds like you have your copy of MegaTune set up for MS1. You'll need to change it with the Configurator over to MS2, or use our preconfigured download.

where can i get the preconfigured download????
