Looking for a 1 barrel carb style TBI

Post by rusty105 »

Like the title says.
I am looking for a 1, or 2 barrel throttle body injection unit that will bolt up to the intake of a 6 cylinder Ford motor( late 60's Mustang).
Any ideas where to look? Doesn't have to be 100% bolt on, I can fab up an adapter if necessary.

How much flow do you need? I'd probably adapt something like a GM V6 TBI.

As mentioned, I'd look at a GM unit, one off a 4.3 might be your best bet. For a 1-barrel look at the GM 4-cyl cars of the mid-80s.

If you have a Motorcraft pattern on that intake, there is an adapter available to fit on the GM 2-V TBI units (fits the 4.3-5.0-5.7 ones).
Needs to get the toes out of the water and just jump off the diving board!!!
current EFI project:
