Hi there, i boght megasquirt kit from www.DIYAutoTune.com, i pass all the steps, but i fnished here when i try to load the code and every time i get this massege

I ran the portchek and i get "s".
Can somebody tell my how to solve the problem.

I also don`t have the stimulator and i use the relay board to power megasguirt.

The message "S" often means you have it set to the wrong COM port. Are you using a USB adapter?

No i`m using comm cable.

There`s somethink strange. When i power up the board with DC adaptor(13V ) it works i thought it too noisy, and then i powered it with the car batery(12.8V) it doesn`t start at all.

So were you able to load the code with the DC adapter?

It`s all voltage problem but it`s so confusing. First with DC adaptor which i used when i run portchek it finds me that I have connected com, next when i power up with the car battery portchek sees nothing connected and i thought that the board don`t work but actualy it was working and i loaded the code succesfully.
Today maybe 4-5 hours i listed the half forum topics for this problem wiht this error and i didn`t find any asnwer to this problem. Olny in one old topic i find this

Maybe the DC adaptor is too noisy and the dougthboard is reseting all the time. So i decide to get the car battery in charge to power up the board and it loaded succesfuly


For thouse who get this error massage ERROR: Unknown error status response, e=0x00 the answer is to power up the board for loading the code with the car battery. For me it worked from the first time, when i used DC adaptor i tried 3 days to loaded with no success.

Any chance you might be grounding out VREF when it's on the car?

No chance at all. I`m still assembling my engine and everything in the car is a mess. So i take the battery at home next to my PC and wire everything.
