Need Help on Building my Board, step #22

Hello everyone, first time posting here in the forums..

first a little bit about the car..
1990 VW Corrado G60, converted to a 2.0 16v.
knock sensor
hall sender @ dizzy
Idle Switch @ TB
ISV (Idle Stabilizer Valve & Boost preasure regulator)
One Ignition coil
CO potentiometer
Full throtle switch @ TB
( I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS ALL I NEED FOR THE MSII plus fuel components)
i am working on getting a TB W/ a Throttle Position sensor

I recently bought a MSII ecu to build, now, i have some questions about the IAC stepper motor described on step#22 of the megamanual V3 assembly,

"22. Now you need to make a decision on the first 'optional' component: if you are going to use an IAC stepper motor with MegaSquirt-II, you must install a jumper from the hole marked S12C to the hole marked JS9 (+12C). These are on the bottom side of the board, on the DB9 side of the processor. DO NOT INSTALL THIS JUMPER FOR NON-MegaSquirt-II APPLICATIONS - IT WILL DESTROY THE PROCESSOR!!

If you are going to use a stepper style IAC (such as the GM IAC), you need to connect jumpers to bring the controller signals out to the DB37:

Connect (1A)JS0 (under the processor socket) to IAC1A (near the DB37 connector) - this brings out IAC1A on DB37 pin #25
Connect (1B)JS1 (under the processor socket) to IAC1B (near the DB37 connector) - this brings out IAC1B on DB37 pin #27
Connect (2A)JS2 (under the processor socket) to IAC2A (near the DB37 connector) - this brings out IAC2A on DB37 pin #29
Connect (2B)JS3 (under the processor socket) to IAC2B (near the DB37 connector) - this brings out IAC2B on DB37 pin #31

If you will be using an ignition output signal to control a coil or ignition module with MS-II, you will, likely be directed to jumper JS10 to:
IGN, or
IGBTIN, with IGBTOUT jumpered to IGN"

I dont know if i will be using An IAC stepper motor, and i was told that this is an option but it is recomended, I am not sure how i can incorporate this to my VW. But could i wire up for one of the IAC even if i dont use it and have it not effect anything else?
Also on Step #22 I would like to Run the igniton coil trhough the MSII using the signal from the hall sender, but i'm not sure where to jumper to from JS10, is it to IGM, or IGBTIN, with IGBTOUT to IGN. I was told that i should also install Q16 for the high current ignition driver, but i am really lost here... i'm looking over the original wiring diagrams for my car, hoping to get a bit more understanding, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry if this seems like info that is just out there, but i've been reading for the past week!!! I hope this is clear enough :P
Thanks in advanced!

You will probably want to wire up the IAC pins; even if you don't use the IAC driver, it still allows for programmable outputs for other purposes.

JS10 connected to IGN is for external drivers - EDIS, DIS, etc. If you're driving the coil directly, then you want to connect JS10 to IGBTIN, install the Q16 circuit, and connect IGBTOUT to IGN.

I get the impression you really want to get a proper TPS; I've read of a few people here who've had problems with just limit switches.
