Outboard engine Tohatsu 25hp / EFI

Hi

Im planning to start boat racing with this engine which is a 4 stroke.
Engine will be of course tuned up and an small compressor for scav air be be installed.

The new engine is fitted with EFI system but as usually it cannot be modified.

I would like to buy new EFI system were its possible to go in by pc and change the setting.

Could somebody with experience advice were to find an new EFI system for this small engine.

How many cylinders does it have, and will you need to control just fuel or will you also need ignition control?

This engine has 3 cylinders.

Pistons need to be changed due to higher temperatures.

Depending on the the rpm the fuel and ignition need to be changed.

Guess I was expecting a lower cylinder count. With three cylinders, is it coil on plug, or does it have a distributor?

Its doesn't have the tradition plug and no coil.

No coils or spark plugs? Right now, MS cannot run diesel engines.

Im searching for an new ECU for this 4 stroke 3 cyl engine.

Were to find.

I have only find for bigger engines likes 150hp Mercury.
