Can't find Mega map sensor

Post by desotohemibill »

I have my Megasquirt system as ordered from DYIautotune. It says that it can work with boost up to 20 PSI boost before it would need a different MAP sensor. Now call me ignorant if you will, but I've worked on many vehicles and they all had hoses hooked from the MAP sensor to the intake system somewhere. I can't for the life of me find a hose fitting on this unit anywhere. Is there another unit I have to buy before my system is complete? I do have the V3 box, Megastim, supplied air and coolant temp sensors supplied, and cables so far. Thank you in advance to anyone that can straighten me out. Bill.

The MAP sensor is IN the MS box. On the DB37 (big connector) panel you'll find a ~ 1/4" hole; look inside and you'll see a barb fitting ending right there. That's your MAP sensor.
