Injector resistance

Hi I have just started building my DIYPNP and I started wondering what was considered low resistance/high resistance.
Also if I have 4 low resistance injectors, the ecu specs state I can only power 2. Is this going to be a problem if they are low resistance. Can I use resistors to make the injectors high resistance?

Thanks.

I would use resistors.

Ok thanks for that. The factory harness has an inbuilt resistor. Tomorrow I'll test the injectors and the resistor box.
Is there an "ideal resistance"?

Thanks

I finally got around to checking the resistance and i got 2.5 ohms for the injectors and 3.5 for the resistor box.

Should this work fine?

Thanks
Mitch

That should work OK. You just need to keep the current per channel under 5 amps.
