v3 ignition

Post by desotohemibill »

I have the V3 unit that I'm oputting on a V8. It has a distributor that I want to use to send spark to each plug in a normal fashion, but will use a trigger wheel for timing. I see on the V3 external wiring diagram that there is a wire going to an ignition module. Does it send a pulse 4 times per revolution to a coil, or do I need another system to add to my V3 setup? Thank you, Bill

What kind of motor do you have, and what kind of distributor does it have? Are you running MS1 or MS2
on the V3 board?
