Burnt the coil button out of the cap

Burnt the coil button out of the cap
ms2 v3 gm 8 pin hei 355 sbc
1983 s-10 350 tpi injection MS2 soon
1984 s-10 Blazer 350/th350 and will get an MS2 tbi.

When i had this happen, I also had a poor connection at the coil - corrosion between the centre terminal and the HT king lead. Could also be the wrong plug leads or plug gaps.convertables_10 wrote:Pulled my distibutor tonight found that the center of the cap where the coil wire passes through was burnt rather badly with evidence of spark scatter.
