I am running a 4.8 GM LSX v8 and it has the 4 wire IAC with the straight connector that has 4 wires all in a row, not the older square shaped connector. Can anyone tell me how to wire this type of IAC and what the step settings should be. I've got everything else running and working, I would just like a little higher warm up idle. Much thanks in davance.

7AGTE20V,
The default settings should be a good starting point, they are for a GM IAC. You might want to adjust the 'Time Step Size' upwards, as high as 6.0 msec. (

For the wiring, see this:
http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/IAC.htm#wiring There is an example of three diferent GM IACs in an illustration:
There is also instructions to determine the proper wiring.
