MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

Hi All

New to all this so any help would be appricated. I bought a second Megasquirt 2 V3 with sister board fitted, this Megasquirt was factory built originally not a DIY kit as I can tell by the soldering on the main board.

When I opened it up to have a look inside I could see that someone has carried out some modifications to it. Can anyone tell me what the modifications are on this Megasquirt. I have pasted 3 limks below to some photos that clearly show all the modifications.





If these modifications asre to improve the Megasquirt I will leave it as be but if not I will revert it back to original. I would like this Megasquirt to control my Rover V8 4.6ltr.

Looks like a home build of a DIYAutoTune.com V3.0 kit. No processor, so I can't tell if it's MS1 or MS2. It looks as if it has several mods for the Extra code (see MSExtra.com) - looks like it's set up for VR input and two spark outputs. And for some reason the current limiting circuits on the injector drivers has been bypassed.

Thanks for the reply it does have the MS2 Sister Board but I removed it to get better phots of the mods.

As I am new to all this would it be better for me to remove the mods and revert it back to satndard as a starting point as I want it to control my Rover V8 4.6ltr spark and fuel
