I need a general idea of correct wire size for the harness and for the wired running to the sensors. Power, ground and signal.
What wired need to be twisted or shielded?
Many thanks for any help.

There are any number of threads on the forums and pages in the various manuals regarding wire size and shielding requirements. You might try a bit of searching be very helpful.

Just a quick follow up to my last post......
I have built several MS cables over the years. They were all a PITA, IMO. The time I spent sorting wire and soldering could have been spent on other projects.
DIY Autotune (and others I suppose) offers wiring kits (wire & connector), along with pre-assembled cables. All the wires (kit or assembled) are correctly sized, labeled and available in various lengths. The wires that need to be shielded are also installed. I much prefer using their pre-built cables and will never build my own again.
Just one guy's opinion of course.........

I actually love building new looms.

But then I've acquired all the tooling needed over the years like decent crimpers etc, which ain't cheap. The snag with ready made is that unless custom to your actual spec, it will still need some work to do what you need - so I'd rather start afresh, and save money.
To the OP, all the information you need is in the manual.
One thing I would add for a newbie is to draw out your actual circuit showing the actual wire colours used - even if following a basic diagram and starting with a ready made loom. Will make things so much easier when you come to fault find later - or decide to alter things, as you undoubtedly will after some use.
Draftsight is a good free prog for drawing out this sort of thing. Here's my circuit made using a similar prog.

Morning Ken. My workshop is actually inside the house - was a bedroom - so nice and warm. I'd not be so keen doing it in a garage this weather. Brr.
