Custom plug wires foe EDIS 6

Post by jamesbryan »

Any vendor out here making custom EDIS spark plug wires. I tried making them myself......needless to say that was a waste of $$$ and time.

Unlikely, I would imagine. Too many possible combinations, I would think (coil location, wire length, # of cylinders, etc), to make a manufacturer want to produce them. I have always made my own for EDIS and many others. IMO, the secret lies in having/using a proper crimping tool.

Just my thoughts of course............

I made my own. But like all crimp terminals you need a crimping tool. Among my collection was one for BNC video connectors. That worked a treat. They are cheap tools to buy as they are common.

You might want to contact Magnecor - they'll make custom wires for virtually any oddball ignition combination out there.
