Serial extension

I have your Bluetooth adapter and using it with ms2 3.57. The area right behind the mounting screws is very hard to get at and the ms2 is in an awkward spot. So I thought maybe a 1' straight through cable could be installed and just be left as a pigtail for when it is needed. Does there appear to be any problem with that. Thanks

FWIW......... I use a pigtail (although a bit shorter) for the same purpose as you that works quite well. Mine allows me to switch between BT and straight serial at will.

Thanks..I live on an island so couldn't get one till I go off but now went to an old junk bucket and fount an old 10 footer so tried an all is well. Will get shorter when I go off.
