TunerStudio MS version 2.6.14

Hi There,
After using an older version of tuner studio for quite some time on a "notebook" I purchased specifically for having in the vehicle with me, I got an error saying the version I was running had to be updated to the new version.
After removing the old version (sorry, not sure what version exactly, as I have deleted it now) and loading the new, I am having some pretty major issues with the graphics?
Computer operating system:
Window 7 starter
32 bit
I noticed when I downloaded the software Tuner Studio MS Lite edition 2.6.14, there was no prompt for a 32bit or 64 bit OS, is this my issue perhaps?
So, I then tried to load onto a Macbook running Mac OS X version 10.7.5 and I get an "installation failed" message during installation. Not sure why this error comes up.
Really keen to get back up and running, as I was just starting to really refine my engine tune.
If there is a thread on this already, please just point me in the right direction.
