No RPM
New MS user here. I just finished building a MSII w/ 3.0 mb, daughter board, & stim - running firmware v2.92. All the inputs check out OK in TunerStudio except the tach input. I have a clean (0-5v) tach signal at pin 1 of the MCS12 as verified by o'scope (which I believe says the input circuit is OK) but I'm not getting RPM on the RPM gauge. What would keep me from getting RPMs?
fwiw, the MS is going to replace the GM 1227749 that has been running my Porsche 928's supercharged V8 for the past 6 or 7 years. The 1227749's keep dying and are getting hard to replace. The most recent one stopped communicating a couple of years ago, so I can't look into it any more. It started going into limp mode when I took it out of winter storage - which prompted my switch to MS.
