Basic tables greyed out

For discussing Phil Tobin's TunerStudio MS is the MegaSquirt edition of TunerStudio, a next generation tuning application. It provides the ability to configure and tune all MegaSquirt controllers and is 100% compatible with MegaTune ini files and msq's.

Basic tables greyed out

Post by blown928 »

Hi all,

New TS user here. I just got the car to start last night, but I'm having some issues. I'm running TS 2.6.18 - it says it is the latest version. All the menu items under 'Basic Tables' are greyed out. How can I get them to be enabled?

Also, I've searched around and cannot find 'Generate Tables' - where can I find that function in TS?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Have you set the ECU type in General Settings?

To generate say a VE table open the VE table in basic tables and use the tools function there.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes - ECU type = 1.

All the menu items in the 'Basic Tables' menu are greyed out - I can't select them. That explains why I can't find 'Generate Table' though.

Best,

I've not come across this, so only guessing. If you go through project properties, does everything appear to be correct?

I'm sure someone with a better knowledge of TS will be along shortly. :D

Found it - first I found a setting to display the menu item enables. Once I could see what enables them I could go make the correct settings to get the tables to display.

Thanks again,
