Hi everyone

I've just interest in DIY for megasquirt however i have some curious questions that most of the suppliers have been developed in the old vehicle model before A.D. 2000.
Why don't they tunning on the vehicle which released after A.D. 2000 ? such as toyota camry XV40, Honda civic FD (2005-2011), BMW E60, Mercedes W211 and so on. Or any limitation on the megasquirt technology ?

I think part of the reason might be the ever increasing amount of integration between engine management systems and other onboard computer systems. For example, I'm quite certain sure I could get the engine on my 2007 VW to run on megasquirt but then most of the gauges on my dash wouldn't work, my cruise control wouldn't work, etc.
