2 Stroke Watercraft Application

Post by breed6903 »

Hello,

I am looking for someone that has used the Microsquirt on a two stroke application and wondering how a mass air meter was usued and adapted into the system? I am loooking at the Bosch sensor that Polaris uses on many if ther 2 stroke sleds and 4 stroke side by sides. What is the best type airbox setup that will work? I dont have a lot of space and was wondering if there is a simple solution? Does the Polaris/Evenrude FICHT fuel injection use a mass air meter? How does that system meter the incoming air? Thanks for the help in advance. I am trying to do all of my homework so that I dont make a big mistake and cause tuneabilty issues down the road. Also is there any other hiccups or do and donts when using the system on a two stroke application?

You might want to PM Andy Whittle on this one - he goes by the screen name "whittlebeast" and has usually been on the MSExtra.com forum. He's done a number of watercraft installs.
