It should actually be a Denso TPS, so it'll be either a 3 wire or 4 wire TPS in that car. The 3 wire version is a normal TPS > ground, +5Vref, Signal. The 4 wire version is exactly the same, but the extra wire is an on/off idle switch to indicate when the throttle is closed. That's the one you most ...

This is sweet! Okay, she's running great now.

For future reference if anyone is interested, the configuration that I've got which is working using all the stock and nothing but stock vr sensor/wiring/sensors/ignitor/etc are:

Using the VR input circuit with no mods, only have to tune the resistors ...

K, I've tried using the 5v pull up on the high output circuit, and still not getting anything... hmm... I'm going back to triple checking my wiring.

You're using the MS2Extra code, right?

Is there any way to set the dwell to fixed duty with the standard code?

I wish I could.

According to the electrical manual, IGT should be 4.5 - 5.5v while cranking and while idling. Im guessing it'll be a square wave of some sort.

Okay, I'm really close to getting my MS2 working. I think I'm on my last stumbling block.

I've got an MS2 v3 board. I'm installing into a 93 Toyota Paseo with a 5E-FE engine. This uses the Toyota ESA ignition system.
