Re: Starter Input?

OK. Have not made the change yet, and after reading a bit, not sure this is what I should do, anyway.

Re: Starter Input?

Forgot to mention that this system is on the 2.886 code right now. I do plan to bring it up to the ms2extra_3.2.4_release firmware this evening.

Re: Starter Input?

I would say it turns over 8-10 times before it gets a sync. Once running, it seems fine. The number of cranks seems to be consistent. Makes no difference if it is hot or cold. I will record a log while starting this afternoon.

I attached a screen shot of the advanced ignition settings. I set the ...

Starter Input?

I have a MSII v3.0 board installed in a 1962 Triumph TR-3. We have the car running, and tuned halfway decently. The problem I have is at startup. The engine cranks several times before I see any activity on the LEDs. This is a very predictable amount of cranking, almost like it takes so many turns ...

Re: Palm Compatibility List

renns-
Would there be any chance at another update to PalmTune? I love using it, and it runs OK on both my Palm Vx and Tungsten T2. However, after some amount of usage, it will crash on either handheld with memory errors. RESET is presented in the dialog, but it does nothing, a hard reset is what ...

Re: Alpha-N with Baro compensation?

Will check in a moment. Is this the same for Microsquirt?

OK, I see that the SPARE_ADC wire goes to ADC6.

Any tables to set the compensation factors, or is that hard coded?

Re: Alpha-N with Baro compensation?

OK, will do that. I do have Baro compensation checked in the General tab. I have the baro sensor hooked up to the MAP sensor signal. Under VE, it goes straight to the row that has the same reading as the Baro, as if I were in SD, and had 80kPa in the manifold. Do I need to hook the sensor up ...

Re: Alpha-N with Baro compensation?

OK, so you are saying for any given TPS setting, set the kPa the same all the way across?

So, like this:

TPS

100% 100 100 100 100 100 100
80% 80 80 80 80 80 80
40% 60 60 60 60 60 60
20% 40 40 40 40 40 40
10% 20 20 20 20 20 20
0% 10 10 10 10 10 10
500 1500 3000 4500 5000 7000

Like that ...

Alpha-N with Baro compensation?

I have just gotten my 1997 Seadoo GSX 787 2 stroke water craft running with Microsquirt with BG 2.886 code! Yes, I am thrilled. OK, questions. I am running it as Alpha-N, and am having some issues, and questions. Yes, I searched on these, but did not find suitable answers, but if anyone has a link ...
