my wrench let me borrow his snap on dial back which seems to work (strobe) and i have read the manual about setting timing however even "fixing" the timing to say 15 deg. i cannot get the two to get the same result. is it the dial back? thanks guys oh by the way ms2 v3 dual plug flat six

timing light sugestions

i am trying to confirm timing on a 87 porsche with twin plug edis setup. i read tou cant use a dial back light due to the wasted spark, however it is working only it seems to be "doubled" the car is fixed at 10 deg tet the light dial is showing 20 deg. am i to assume i am right on as the signal is ...

no and im scared to connect to ecu as i have a tune that has taken a long time to create and corruption is not an option!

v1.14.1 problem

after just getting an auto update to the new version and installing now when i open tuner studio my screen stays grey with the new logo in center. i have no gauge cluster or anything. tried removing file and reinstalling still same thing. thanks guys

ken ebc is electronic boost control. the car is a 87 porsche 930.just trying to figure out s1,s2,s3,s4. the switch is an on off and i have power there constantly. thanks

ken i cant use the Fidle as it is working my ebc. when i try to program one of the iac functions it doesnt turn off. i trid setting it at coolant ,less than 120 and hysterisis at 3. i am lost any help would be appreciated, thanks

hey ken dont think it is a stepper its closed with no power and open with 12 v. i cant use fidle as its controlling my ebc i have ms2 and 3.0 thanks the old girl has a hard time keeping idle when cold

i too would like to turn on or give a 12 v signal to an idle valve but am using my fidle wire for boost . it seems s1,s2 always have 12v. ihave tried to use these and the valve stays on. any ideas?

hey guys .iseem to have a problem with a bad miss only between 2 and 3000 rpm.if i change the ignition capture setting from rising edge to falling or vice versa burn save as it runs as it should, shut the car down for a few and it starts all over........heeeeeelp thanks frank

hi guys i am very new to the forum yet am almost done with ms2 cis swap on a 87 930 turbo. cant wait. my question is the vr sensor i got from boost eng. will be a pain in the ### to mount versus the one from a ford focus 2.0 dohc. will this one work? thanks frank
