Re: No tach signal on T/S with JimStim.

12V on the JimStim. Re-tested the JS and it passed the tach signal test.

Re: No tach signal on T/S with JimStim.

Hall optical with EDIS, also verified the components have good grounds.

No tach signal on T/S with JimStim.

MSII/V3 board step 55 of assembly. Cannot get a tach signal on Tuner studio. Checked all jumpers per the schematic
and tested pin 24 to TSEL, .06V when 12V applied, 4.90V when grounded. Have a signal generator, what should I put on pin24 and what should my scope read
at TSEL. All the other POTS work ...

Diode D3

I'm sure that I am just missing this but cannot see any instruction to add diode D3 to my V3 board.
Sheet 4 of the V3 schematic shows all the other components of this particular circuit installed.
Any info (step#) appreciated.

Transistor elimination.

Maybe this will help someone else. Was looking for a spot on the heat sink to mount the TIP 120 on my V3 board for the IAC and noted on the schematic
that transistor Q3 could be eliminated if Q1 and Q5 were avalanche rated. Checked with DIGI-KEY and they said they are fully avalanche rated.

Transistor Q23 on V3 board.

Have a feeling I just made some unnecessary work for myself. Q23, viewed from the back, showed 10.56 ohms between the two outer legs,
10.57 between the center and right legs and a short between the center and left. thinking I must have screwed up, I removed Q23, cleaned the board up
to where I could ...

Tach signal inversion.

I know this is a basic question but I have run a Manual and Google search and nothing comes up. What is tach signal inversion?
What are the pluses and minuses? Is there a Glossary of terms that will stop me from boring people?? I am programming my Jimstim. Any info appreciated.
