Re: Innovate LC-1 wide band setup

This is an old thread, but what the heck. First, after getting my MS2 tuned, I seldom had O2 correction of more than 1 or 2 %. So once set up, (correctly!) you really don't need it. A friend of mine is a tech at Ford racing, and he tells me the O2 sensor on a Ford provides 3% of the information for ...

V3.0 board does not power up

OK, I have a V 3.0 MS1 that I haven't used in some time. I replaced it with an MS2 complete kit when it died. Well, now I want to squirt my riding lawn mower, (no I don't have too much time on my hands, and why does everyone keep asking that!?), and want to fix it.
When I hook up the stim, I get ...

Re: IAC issues

I have been thinking about my issue, and I have to wonder if the IAC is wired backward. When it is hooked up, and I start the car, it idles at normal speed, then after a few seconds, maybe 5 or so, it jumps up to speed. Also, if I have the IAC out, and hooked up, when I turn the key on, it shoots ...

IAC issues

I need some help setting up my IAC. I know I need to count the steps to open, but how do I do that? It is a GM IAC, and I have read others here that say theirs opens 160 or so steps.
Also, when I hook it up, seems no matter what I set the steps to, it jumps the engine to 2500 RPM. I have it set at ...

MAP - TPS accel enrichment question

I have a bit of hesitation on accelleration. I want to change my AE from TPS to 50% TPS 50% MAP. I am not really sure what values to enter in the menu. I have left everything at the default for now. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. I am running MS2 V 3.0 with 2.88 code.
Thanks!

IAC help needed.

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have a 62 Corvair, which is, of course, air cooled. I have a MS2 v3.0 in it, and everything is great. Well, almost everything. I am having some issues with my IAC. I looked on the forum, and found some guy set his up for 160 steps to start. So I did ...

Sorry for the multiple posts

I got a screen saying that there was an error and my post did not post. When I went back to look at the thread, it posted several times. Sorry about that! If an admin could delete the extras, and then this post, that would be cool. Of course, I know they are busy, and probably have lives outside ...

Re: Batch firing injectors causing engine damage or bad AFR

I was thinking of the effects a 4 cylinder engine has with batch firing injector pairs. That would mean that the injectors would fire on the exhaust stroke of the opposing cylinder. Wouldn't this be bad on the engine as far as either washing your rings out or dumping the injected fuel out the ...
