Another Compliment for the Admin Team

Hey Team!

I just wanted to let you know that I got all the info I needed on my planned MS2 upgrade. I've been running MS1 for a while (4 years?) and I'm looking at upgrading. I had questions about wideband support and I spent about a half hour digging and I got my awnser. Lance had awnsered my ...

Re: fuel line setup, please judge

3/8" npt to -6AN adapters will save time and money. Run a search for 3/8" npt fuel filter on ebay. You'll get many options. Also, you can get adapters for 8AN to 6AN. I've got one on my return line.

Beware of cheap regulators, they don't work well. I had to buy an Aeromotive after my ebay cheapie ...

Re: 42 year old carb to efi help

Hi!

My dual 58mm on my car flows just under 1000 cfm (we tested it). LT1 motors made more HP from the factory than your goal with the 48 mms. It's going to be easier to use a GM part for parts avaiabilty and compatability with megasquirt. Maybe less fabrication, too, depending your transmission. If ...

Re: exhaust design - basic issue

Hey All!

Here's what I have learned. I put a 2.5 inch straight through ehxaust system on my '98 civic. It's louder than heck, but the car runs well after adjusting the fuel pressure - tuning like Lance said. There's no way that a 1.6 liter will put out enough air to overload that pipe, but it works ...

Re: car hesitates at around 3700 rpm?

I have this same problem and I've been chasing it around for a couple of years. It only happens under load, under light throttle, it doesn't happen. I've tried adjusting the fuel, but it's still there, just not as bad. I've found datalogging to be a complete pain, so I'm renting some dyno time this ...

Re: Fuel Press. Regulator Recomendations?

Hi everybody!

Just a quick line about FPRs. I tried a cheap one that I got off eBay for >$50. I don't remember what I paid for it. It lasted just long enough for me to get it about 3 miles from home and it quit on me. I bit the bullet and went with the Aeromotive regulator. I had to save up for a ...

Paul,

Is that a 6-series box? If it is you can use the tach output connection on the side of the box, the same place as the wire goes to for your tach. That's what I'm using and it's what a couple of other guys told me worked.

good luck!
