Where do I buy the parts for the ecu
Is it possible to download an standard map just to get the engine running

The learning curve is steep. Installing Mega Squirt is not going to be a week end driveway project.
These Forums are a good place to start. Read the forums, you will notice they are listed several subject headings. Try to address your question to a specific heading. Then continue reading here, http://www.megamanual.com/index.html. Then all the items on the side bar.
There are several approved vendors on the forums, who sell complete kits and provide great support. When you ask a question you will receive an answer from a vendor or a fellow forum member, usually with in a day, although weekends can be a little slow.
There is not a standard map to down load. in the Configuring Mega-Squirt-II manual you set the constants for your engine. Then in the Tuning Mega-Squirt-II you tune all the parameters to your engine.
REMEMBER, the more you read the more all of this will start making sense
