Megasquirt on Watrcraft

Hi, i have a kawasaki watercraft 1,5 l 4 tec 4 cyl supercharged with 250 hp. it has a Mitsubishi ecu on.
There is on sale a motec kit pnp but too expensive.
I want to learn and now my level is newbbie. So please understood my lack on knowledge and mistake.
I would like to use original wire harness if possible.
My target is to see ,as motec done, rpm , throttle position , temp of engine, ic ,inlet and oil,ignition advance, oil pressure ,mainfold press and gps speed.
And to tune timing advance, fuel map , injectors.
I want also a lambda comunication if possible.

Please give me input to begin ..if possible......which one......

It's not likely there is anything plug and play for this motor, but you could splice a MegaSquirt or MicroSquirt to the stock wiring. The following signals you listed are normal inputs or outputs from the MS, so you'd be able to see them in the tuning software:

• RPM
• Throttle position
• Coolant temperature
• Ignition advance
• Manifold pressure
• Manifold air temperature
• Wideband lambda input with an extra controller

There are two extra analog outputs that could be used for any two of the following:

• Intercooler inlet temperature
• Oil temperature
• Oil pressure

You could use a GPIO board to bring in up to 8 analog signals, as well. The one item on your list that I haven't seen anyone do with a MegaSquirt variant is GPS speed input.

Firstly thanks.

Maybe as far as gps i can solve using can modul gps.

As far as what can i control? using this ecu can i control advance timing, ecu map , 4 injectors?

Yes. Note that with a Microsquirt - the most logical choice here - you'd be running batch fire injectors and wasted spark.
