coolent and air temp issue

Post by dave_mito »

im struggleing with the air and coolent temp sensors on my citreon, I have one wire going to the correct wire on the squirt and the other going to earth.

the readings in megatune go striaght up and dont change at all. Ive loaded the correct settings with easytherm and tried spare sensors but there is no change.

Try grounding the sensor straight to the MS, and also check the sensor's resistance to make sure it is in spec.

Pins 17-19 on the DB37 are for sensor return. Instead of grounding the sensor on the chassis or engine block, run it back to the MS box.

Hello Dave,

I am having the same issue with my microsquirt. For air temp, it's ok, but for coolant, it goes straight up and never moves. I don't understand what the bias resistor value is, and i don't know how to find it. Thanks for the help mate.
