1jz help

Post by alx954 »

weird problem, i just installed a ms1 v3 on my friends supra. (fuel only for now)
the thing is that it runs so rich at idle and the motor hunts for idle like crazy.
i wire the injectors 135 on one batch and 426 on the other.
everything is stock on the motor, but it just does not want to idle at all or tune for that matter.
if you guys have any suggestions on what i might be able to check out id appreciate it.
my only thought is that its firing at the wrong time from the injectors???
i have 2 injections per cycle alternating
1 ms injector opening time

Injector timing normally isn't an issue. Could you post a data log of it trying to idle and a copy of your MSQ file? This will give us a lot more to go on.
