MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I've got one of those late '80s Ford F150 fuel pumps. The outlet is threaded and I thought it was 1/8" NPT. Apparently not, since while the diameter is the same, 1/8" NPT parts won't screw in. What sort of thread should I be looking for?

Took it to the hardware store today and started trying to see what fits. Turns out it's a fine bolt thread instead of a pipe thread. 3/8"-24.
