Need distributor help please, urgent.

Post by dsatchell »

I just installed a stock MS-II v3.57 (from DIY) without the VB921 in my Dodge Raider Truck (4 cylinder) but I can't figure out how to hook up the ditrubutor/ignition. I will eventually be going with a EDIS system but I'm waiting on a custom crank pulley with the trigger wheel but it is not ready yet.

So I want to run the MS in fuel only for now and just use the stock distributor for now but can't figure out what to wire to what. I have uploaded the stock ignition circuit diagram here http://www.austincs.com/public/ignition_circuit.jpg

I would really appreciate some help as my wife wants her car back!

David.

That picture doesnt help much as i have no idea what kind of pick-up it uses, however if you are planning just fuel, pull your tach signal of of the negative coil wire and set up your MS for a distributer http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pickups.htm for MSII, should be the same for MSI as well, just use the opto circuit with the caps and diodes installed.
