Injectors stick open (intermitence)

Hi

Title would explain the issue.

4 days ago we start the engine (VW 1.8T AWP with high impedance injectors), injectors stuck open. During this startup, battery voltage dropped to 8.5v...At this time, Im thinking the FET driver neded a minimum voltage to operate but the problem make a comeback.

This afternoon, after 1minute running, same thing. Both bank are grounded. Tomorow i'll check flyback circuit components but I presume the FET is the problem because both bank are affected...

Someone else have experimented this intermitent issue?
Low bat can do this?

Ok

After few checks, I found the problem.

We had only one affected bank (Sorry for confusion)

Because the system goes on a race car, we use a Relay Board. When you check the terminal strip, you can remark the 4th screw (injectors Bank 1 wire#2) is close to the 5th(Fuel pump wire). Between screws, plastic is really thin, my friend probably broke it during installation... Result, Injector wiring(bank one) touched the fuel pump output where resistance to ground is really low. result, Banl one was almost grounded.

I hope this thread will be helpfull because it's not the first time I hear something about full open injector(s) with MS use. Remember this: On the 20screw strip, between each location, plastic is enough thin to break easily and make bad things ;)

In our case 2cylinders was filled with gaz then finally go to all lubrication system. This morning when we start the engine, all internal parts was cleaned with fuel. Bad (clak! clak! noises came from cylhead(Lifters). Ouch!
