LS1 Meqasquirt and My projects

Hi folks
It has been a few years since I banged around on here. And after getting my feet wet with tuning and efi. I am back
Anyhow...
I got 2 projects. First one is a 2004 silverado that started life as a v6 5 speed truck. Last year I swapped out the v6 for a 454. And used a mefi 3 controller and tuner pro to tune it. Well now I am upgrading it again. But now I am considering megasquirt to run it. The motor in question is an vortec 8100 with some mods. Now does megasquirt have a system that can run the igniton and the efi of the system?
And my second project is a 1993 trans am with a 454 and custom efi. I was going to use an ls1 pcm to run it with the coil per cylinder. But now after debating it I may just megasquirt it as well. Since I already bought the 24 tooth reluctor for this motor. I pretty much need the same setup for the 8100 for this motor as well and I also plan on running coil per cylinder on the 454 as well. Now I also considered running the ignition off of one of them msd ls1 boxes and then having megasquirt control the injection. But unfortunately I dont know what has changed sine i last looked at megasquirt...
So If you can help lead me in the right directions I would greatly appreciate it.
