I have a daihatsu move. 3cly efi non turbo. I got a microsquirt that i wanted to use on it but my mechanic says it cannot work for a 3 cly engine. Is that true?

Depends on the triggering setup. It can work with a 3 cylinder distributor without too much trouble.
